We have helped thousands of people realise the dream of home ownership, delivering over 100,000 homes across Western Australia and Victoria. From first homes to luxury builds, we’ve earned the trust of our community along the way.

The Role

This is a critical leadership role at the centre of our construction delivery, responsible for driving a more sophisticated, consistent, and high-performing approach to trade allocation across a large-scale residential building program.

Reporting to the Workforce Operations Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and optimisation of trade allocation across multiple sites, ensuring the right trades are deployed at the right time to deliver high-quality outcomes, improved productivity, and reliable build performance.

You will play a key role in balancing trade capability, capacity, and demand, while embedding a more structured and data-driven approach to workforce planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead trade allocation planning across multiple sites, ensuring efficient and effective workforce deployment
  • Ensure the most capable trades are allocated to the right jobs to maximise build quality and performance
  • Balance trade capability, capacity, and demand to maintain continuity of work and minimise delays
  • Lead and develop a team of Trade Allocators, driving consistency, accountability, and performance
  • Drive continuous improvement across allocation processes, systems, and frameworks
  • Use data and insights to forecast demand, identify risks, and inform allocation decisions
  • Partner closely with Construction teams to align workforce planning with build programs and delivery targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners to support engagement and retention
  • Support and optimise workforce and scheduling technology to improve visibility, accuracy, and efficiency

About You

You are an experienced operational leader with a strong background in workforce planning, scheduling, or trade allocation within a construction or similar environment.

You bring a practical, outcomes-focused approach and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where decisions directly impact delivery performance.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in an operational or scheduling environment
  • Strong experience in workforce planning, trade allocation, or resource scheduling across multiple sites
  • Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve performance
  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of productivity, cost, and build performance drivers
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Construction teams and trade partners
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on efficiency, consistency, and scalability
