The Role

As a Site Manager Starts, you’ll bring your practical construction knowledge and on‑site experience to ensure our homes are built to the highest standard and in line with all relevant Building Codes and ABN Group safety and compliance requirements.

This role is ideal not only for experienced Site Supervisors, but also for tradespeople, leading hands who have taken on responsibility on site such as coordinating trades, liaising with suppliers, or checking workmanship and quality.

Reporting into our Construction Manager, your role will include but not limited to:

  • Conduct daily site inspections and manage job rounds to ensure compliance and check quality of workmanship and materials
  • Utilise computer programs and technology to assist with accurate reporting of job progress
  • Reach stage claim and completion targets in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with trades and suppliers
  • Utilise knowledge and experience of construction to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Promote and maintain safe work protocols at all times
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders

Who Will Be Successful 

We’re looking for people who bring practical, hands‑on experience and a strong understanding of how a residential construction site operates. You may come from a Site Supervisor background, or you may be a qualified tradesperson or leading hand who has:

  • Coordinated or overseen other trades
  • Supported apprentices or new team members
  • Liaised with suppliers or inspectors
  • Taken responsibility for quality checks or site safety
  • Managed workflow or sequencing on site
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

The following will be highly regarded:

  • Recent Site Supervisor experience within the WA residential building industry
  • Relevant trade qualification and or Diploma in Building and Construction
  • Confidence using computer programs and reporting tools
  • Ability to interpret building plans, specifications and relevant legislation
  • Current C class Drivers Licence and White Card (mandatory)
