The Group Building Methodology Manager is a senior, strategic role responsible for leading the ongoing optimisation of building methodologies across the WA residential construction business.

The position develops, standardises, and continuously improves the technical methodologies, construction processes, and workflows used in the design, manufacture, and installation of all building methodologies include frame and truss.

The Opportunity

As the Group Building Methodology Manager, you will lead the development, standardisation, and optimisation of construction methodologies that improve quality, cost, capability, and delivery performance. You will act as a key connector across Product, Design, Construction, Procurement, Labour, and ABN Victoria to unlock efficiencies and support sustainable growth.

What You’ll Lead

  • Methodology Strategy — Build and execute the roadmap for all building methodologies including frame and truss adoption and optimisation.
  • Process Standardisation — Develop workflows, SOPs, quality gates, and governance frameworks.
  • Product & Design Integration — Ensure homes are designed for efficiency, buildability, and customer value.
  • Procurement & Commercial — Unlock material, system, and supplier advantages.
  • Labour Strategy — Improve labour availability, capability, and productivity.
  • Quality & Compliance — Implement QA frameworks, audits, and continuous improvement systems.
  • Operational Efficiency — Drive improvements in cost, cycle time, predictability, and scalability.
  • Cross‑State Collaboration — Align methodologies and share best practice with ABN Victoria.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a passion for building better, smarter, and more efficiently. You thrive in complex environments, influence diverse stakeholders, and lead change with clarity and confidence.

You’ll bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Design, or similar.
  • Significant experience in frame and truss design, manufacturing, or construction.
  • Strong structural knowledge and understanding of build methodology.
  • Experience developing methodologies, SOPs, or QA systems.
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and uplift organisational capability.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
