In 2004 we launched ABN Training, our registered WA training organisation, to address the growing need for skilled tradespeople in Western Australia. Since then, we have trained more than 1,600 apprentices, spearheaded numerous building apprentice reforms and won dozens of awards.

The Role

As the Training Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for providing support to the ABN Training team. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is collaborative, engaging and has experience working in a fast-paced environment as well as have the ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining documentation such as company inductions, apprentice manuals, and the ABN Training intranet page
  • Provide support to incentive funding processes
  • Preparing meeting agenda’s and taking minutes at our fortnightly team meeting (or as required)
  • Manage the ABN Training inbox and data entry
  • Maintaining the TAFE tracking and invoice process
  • Preparing sign-up documentation for apprentices and supporting the sign-up process
  • Generate reports and support data management activities

  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Reliable, efficient, and self-motivated
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office software
