The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Digital Engineering Coordinator to join our team in Perth.
You will play a critical role in driving digital coordination across multiple major projects. Acting as the custodian of the clash detection and model coordination process, you will work closely with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure design issues are identified early, resolved efficiently and managed through to completion.
This role is ideal for a technically capable BIM or Digital Engineering professional who enjoys working collaboratively and leveraging technology to improve project outcomes. This role will include working on commercial construction projects with values generally between $50m and $200m and across sectors including BTR, aged care, office and other mixed-use projects. Previous experience should align with this.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and administer Revizto across multiple projects
- Lead clash detection and model coordination activities from project inception through to IFC documentation
- Facilitate coordination meetings and drive issue resolution with consultants and subcontractors
- Monitor, track and report on coordination issues, KPIs and project outcomes
- Support the delivery of coordinated and buildable design solutions
- Review consultant BIM deliverables against project requirements and standards
- Develop and maintain digital engineering and coordination processes
- Provide training and support to project teams using Revizto and associated digital platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve coordination efficiency through technology and process improvements
- Support the successful delivery of major commercial construction projects
What You Will Bring
You are a collaborative and proactive digital engineering professional with strong BIM coordination experience and a passion for delivering high-quality project outcomes.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in BIM Coordination, Digital Engineering or Design Coordination within a commercial construction environment
- Advanced Revizto experience and strong understanding of clash detection processes
- Experience coordinating federated models across multiple disciplines
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methodologies and building services coordination
- Experience facilitating coordination meetings and driving issue resolution
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational, analytical and reporting capabilities
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline
