The Role
Reporting to the Approvals Team Leader, you will join a supportive, process-driven team responsible for lodging and tracking building approvals with Shires and Developers.
This is a highly administrative role that is all about process, accuracy, and follow-up.
You will also be responsible to:
- Process the submissions of building license applications, planning applications, developer applications
- Liaise with Sales and Design team members to achieve positive outcomes for our customers
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders (including local councils)
- Utilise technology systems to update reports accurately
- Provide alternative suggestions and outcomes to non-complaint requests
- Ensure file notes are entered accurately using appropriate systems
- Provide ongoing support throughout the customer journey from sales through to construction
About You
We are looking for individuals with sound administration skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Highly organised with sound administration skills and a strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Resilient, proactive, and capable of working autonomously while contributing to team success
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new platforms
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team with a wide group of stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to influence individuals or groups to achieve better outcomes
- Practical approach with a drive to improve or exceed goals
