What's on offer? 

As a Technical Service Specialist in our Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, analysis, and problem-solving expertise to ensure seamless preconstruction and construction operations. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to address on-site issues, improve processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical training and quality assurance. Your proactive approach and technical knowledge will enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation across the business.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Resolve on-site issues by coordinating updates to plans, documentation, and orders.
  • Capture and analyse data on queries to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and update training content and templates to address common trends and errors.
  • Provide overflow support to Building Estimators and Drafting Leaders, assisting with technical queries.
  • Manage site query workflows and inboxes, ensuring efficient resolution and documentation of issues.

You will also have:

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in, estimating, or drafting, with a solid understanding of construction processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, including conducting root cause analysis.
  • Organisational strengths, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A proactive approach to addressing challenges, enhancing training programs, and driving improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
