What You Will Be Working On

As the Group Training Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the development and delivery of our apprenticeship training programs. You will lead and be supported by a team of Training Managers and Coordinators to deliver industry leading programs to inspire the next generation in the building and construction industry.

Key focuses of the role:

  • Strategic planning, development and implementation of departmental objectives
  • Design and develop effective training programs, materials, and strategies
  • Build strong relationships with internal construction teams, and external partners including TAFEs and RTOs
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and government requirements
  • Continuously improve training initiatives and manage the training budget
  • Lead and mentor the Training team to deliver results while supporting their development

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in GTO, RTO, or senior training management roles
  • Strong knowledge of WA training packages, WAMMS, and apprenticeships
  • Passion for training, learning, and development, with a strategic mindset
  • Natural ability to network and demonstrated influential skills   
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver impactful results
  • A relevant qualification, preferably a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Previous experience in the building and construction industry is desirable
