What You Will Be Working On
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating teams, materials, and site activity to keep roofing projects moving efficiently. Your focus will be on planning, communication, and keeping quality high.
- Plan and allocate materials through accurate site measurements and job prep
- Coordinate schedules and resolve site issues before they impact timelines
- Lead regular toolbox meetings and ensure clear communication across teams
- Review trade and supplier performance, escalating any concerns to management
- Conduct maintenance inspections and ensure consistent reporting to operations
- Track site budgets and proactively manage any cost-related risks
Who Will Be Successful
- Demonstrated experience in a trade, construction or site-based environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with trades, suppliers and site teams.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- General understanding of residential construction practices and building requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer outcomes.
