About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Accounts Officer to join the Parcel Property team on a fixed-term, full-time basis to cover a period of parental leave. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support accurate, timely and efficient accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and financial administration across Parcel Property project syndicates and relevant ABN Group entities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage accounts payable activities, including supplier onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs and supplier enquiries.
  • Support accounts receivable and cash management through bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting and transaction monitoring.
  • Maintain finance administration systems, workflows, banking arrangements and corporate accounts.
  • Assist with employee expense processing, purchase orders and financial record management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and financial controls.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation or a comparable finance administration role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information.
  • Prior experience using Xero or comparable finance systems is highly regarded.
