Dale Alcock Projects is a fast‑growing construction division within the ABN Group, delivering high‑quality medium‑density and semi‑commercial projects across Perth. The Role

The role will be based in the Perth metro region and in this role, you will utilise your technical and practical construction knowledge to build high-quality projects in accordance with the Australian Building Codes and the ABN Group’s safety standards.

Reporting to our Construction Manager, your key responsibilities will be;

  • Manage safety and project quality on site
  • Responsible for the supervision and management of all on-site trade activity
  • Supervision of all structural, services and finishes trades
  • Supervision and coordination of material deliveries associated with the works
  • Supervision and responsibility for the delivery of quality in workmanship on each project
  • Responsible for all site inductions, toolbox meetings and on-site communication with all trades, consultants and suppliers and
  • Monitor and drive the programme throughout the project to achieve PC on time
  • Assist with the management of the project budget
  • Work with the Project Manager & Contract Administrator to manage preliminary costs
  • Ensuring our projects are built with the highest quality of workmanship, in accordance with the Building Codes and in line with company procedures
  • Be able to interpret building plans, engineers’ reports and specifications
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

About You 

A high level of team spirit coupled with a positive and flexible attitude, strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. To be considered for the role you will have;

  • Experience as a Site Manager in the Perth Metro area, both residential and commercial experience is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent programming and planning skills
  • Great leadership and motivation skills
  • The capability of working in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work within time restraints
  • Embodies the culture and core values of Dale Alcock Projects and the ABN Group
  • Sound understanding of the relevant legislation, standards and codes and the ability to interpret building plans, engineers reports and specifications
  • Strong time management, organisation skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • Effective communication and sound problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
