Your Impact
As a Sales Estimator, you’ll play a critical role at the very start of our building journey—ensuring every home is accurately priced and set up for success. You’ll act as the gatekeeper between sales and construction, ensuring each opportunity aligns with our pricing strategy, margin expectations, and business standards.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and deliver accurate Sales Estimates in line with pricing strategy and budget expectations
- Price post-contract variations and fixed price House & Land packages
- Review and validate deal submissions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and feasibility
- Provide expert advice and clarification to internal stakeholders, including Sales Consultants
- Assess plans, engineering drawings, soil reports, and specifications to inform pricing decisions
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Drafting, Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction
- Ensure all estimates maintain margin integrity while meeting customer and business needs
- Act as a key checkpoint in the process before jobs progress into pre-construction
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in estimating or strong knowledge of residential construction (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in costings and documentation
- Solid Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach with the ability to manage your workload independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to provide guidance to stakeholders
- Understanding (or exposure to) planning processes, developer approvals, and construction sequencing
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong internal relationships
You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply.
