The Role

This 12‑month maternity leave cover role offers the opportunity to step into a key position within Dale Alcock Projects, reporting to the Building Manager and taking responsibility for the full delivery of commercial projects from design concept through to completion.

Key duties of this role include;

• Overall successful delivery of the project in terms of safety, quality, cost, program and client satisfaction
• Full understanding of all project contractual matters including practical and meaningful communication to the project team
• Effective management of project risks and opportunities to identify and establish corrective actions as needed
• Program preparation, management and tracking including monthly project reports, cash flow forecasting and tender letter schedules
• Active stakeholder management and evaluation to ensure standards are met and project delivery is on track
• Review effectiveness of project system for continual improvement
• Thorough understanding of project scope including critical client objectives
• Ensure HSEQ management procedures are effectively implemented and proactively drive a strong site safety culture

You

To be considered for the role you will have;

• Experience as a Project Manager on commercial projects
• Tertiary qualification (or equivalent including trade and experience) in a construction discipline such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Sound technical knowledge of various contracting models
• Great leadership, motivation, and communication skills
• Excellent financial/analytical skills and commercial acumen
• The ability to work within time restraints
