The Role
We're seeking a People Development Specialist who can seamlessly combine instructional design, facilitation and organisational development expertise to create impactful learning experiences that build capability, strengthen culture and drive business performance.
Reporting to the Group Manager, People Development, you'll partner with leaders across the business to identify capability gaps, diagnose development needs and design solutions that deliver meaningful behavioural and organisational change. This is a truly end-to-end role, where you'll balance the creation of engaging learning programs with the facilitation of leadership and team development initiatives, while also contributing to broader organisational development, culture and transformation priorities.
From conducting needs analyses and designing blended learning solutions, to facilitating workshops, coaching leaders and supporting change initiatives, you'll play a key role in shaping how our people learn, grow and perform. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full learning lifecycle, from consultation and instructional design through to facilitation, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities
- Design engaging learning solutions, workshops and development programs
- Develop blended learning content, including eLearning and digital resources
- Facilitate impactful face-to-face and virtual learning experiences
- Coach leaders and subject matter experts to build capability and confidence
- Support organisational development, culture and transformation initiatives
- Drive leadership, team effectiveness and behavioural change outcomes
- Use stakeholder feedback, data and insights to continuously improve learning programs
About You
You're someone who can comfortably move between the role of designer, facilitator and trusted advisor.
You understand that great learning isn't just about content – it's about creating experiences that change behaviour and improve performance.
You'll bring:
- Experience in Learning & Development, Capability Development or Organisational Development
- Strong instructional design capability and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences
- Excellent facilitation skills, with confidence presenting to groups at all levels of an organisation
- Experience supporting leadership development, culture or change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
- Experience with learning technologies, LMS platforms and digital learning tools
- A TAE qualification or equivalent learning and development credentials
