The Role

Your role in the team will be pivotal in ensuring our operational workflow remains fluid and precise. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will act as the technical backbone of our scheduling process, coordinating Ready-To-Start (RTS) jobs across ABN brands. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and senior management to ensure every project starts with accuracy and financial clarity.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with installers, builders & site managers to confirm bookings and resolve enquiries
  • Generate and process job starts, assign job numbers, and secure supplier bookings in ABN software systems
  • Manage project budgeting by authorising supplier invoices, coding costs, and claiming variations
  • Monitor daily concrete usage and produce comprehensive monthly variance reports
  • Reschedule and adapt workflows to accommodate unforeseen date changes from stakeholders
  • Interpret architectural/engineering drawings, soil reports, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy
  • Maintain strong customer service with prompts responses to queries
  • Support Estimating and Construction teams

You

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for;

  • 2-3 years of proven scheduling experience within the residential building industry or a closely related sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Construction industry experience with the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings is desirable
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills with initiative to resolve issues independently
  • A commitment to a safe, injury-free workplace and compliance with all company safety policies
