The Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity where you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end lending and operational performance of the business.

Working closely with Sales, Product and funding partners, you’ll drive consistency, turnaround performance and continuous improvement, while leading and developing a high-performing, customer-focused team.

Key responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and optimise end-to-end loan operations, from application through to settlement
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and workflows to support growth and scalability
  • Oversee credit decisioning frameworks, ensuring consistency, quality and compliance for externally and internally funded programmes
  • Establish and monitor SLA performance across credit, settlements and support functions
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to support lending policies, product rollouts and distribution success
  • Build and develop team capability across credit, operations and post-settlement customer experience
  • Use data and reporting to identify opportunities, improve performance and manage risk

About You

You’re a proven leader within the mortgage or lending industry, with a strong blend of operational expertise, credit knowledge and people leadership.

You bring:

  • Preferred experience in mortgage lending operations or a mortgage manager environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong familiarity with various processing and CRM systems and “Jira style” project management
  • Deep understanding of credit frameworks, loan processing and lending lifecycle
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on efficiency and scalability
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, solution focus paired with the ability to prioritise and deliver at pace
