As our VIC franchise network continues to expand, we are seeking a Franchise Development Manager who is passionate about helping brokers build successful businesses and contributing to the growth of a high-performing network.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the VIC State Manager, this role will play a key part in driving broker growth, capability and productivity across the Victorian network.

You will work directly with franchisees and Future Franchise Partners, providing hands-on coaching, business development support, strategic guidance and operational assistance to help brokers grow sustainable businesses and transition successfully into franchise ownership.

This is a highly relationship-focused role where you will partner with brokers, lender BDMs, strategic partners and internal stakeholders to drive performance, improve conversion outcomes and strengthen the Resolve Finance network.

The Impact You Will Have

This role will directly contribute to the continued growth and success of the Resolve Finance VIC franchise network.

You will help brokers build confidence, capability and stronger referral partnerships while improving business performance and productivity. Through coaching, mentoring and strategic support, you will play an important role in developing future franchise owners and strengthening the Resolve brand across Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

Franchisee Development & Coaching

  • Provide business coaching and development support to franchisees and Future Franchise Partners
  • Drive accountability, momentum and productivity through regular face-to-face engagement
  • Conduct monthly business coaching meetings and weekly in-office team collaboration sessions
  • Support brokers with live deals, structuring scenarios, lender policy guidance and conversion strategies
  • Deliver real-time coaching including scripting, referral partner role plays and client scenario support

Network Growth & Capability Development

  • Support the onboarding and transition of employee brokers into franchise ownership
  • Conduct skill gap analysis and coordinate training and development initiatives
  • Work closely with Learning & Development, Operations and Distribution teams to improve broker capability
  • Assist with mentor team overflow file reviews for new brokers
  • Become a subject matter expert across Resolve systems including Salestrekker and Desygner

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with lender BDMs and strategic partners
  • Support brokers in developing referral partnerships and growth opportunities
  • Assist with escalations involving lenders, strategic partners and key stakeholders
  • Support and oversee the ABN Builder partnership to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes

Culture, Engagement & Leadership

  • Organise Professional Development Days, workshops and broker events
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing and supportive culture across the VIC network
  • Support reporting and analytics to identify opportunities and business risks
  • Provide State Manager coverage during leave periods when required

About You

You are a commercially minded and relationship-driven professional who enjoys helping others succeed. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about coaching brokers to grow successful businesses.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or broker leadership
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and influencing skills
  • Experience working with mortgage brokers, franchisees or sales teams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capability
  • Mortgage broking, banking or finance industry experience
  • Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style
  • Performance management experience
  • Relevant industry qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable)
