The Role

We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person, committed to the delivery of excellent customer service, to join our Estimating Department.

As part of our Estimating team, you’ll be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Reaching individual & team weekly and monthly targets
  • Preparing accurate construction contracts in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with our Sales department and internal departments to assist them in resolving queries
  • Actioning costing requests and site cost adjustments
  • Checking and proofing of work
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate base model costings
  • Interpreting contract documentation, plans, building processes and procedures, relevant legislation, standards and codes

You

To be successful in this role, the following qualities and experiences are essential:

  • Demonstrated ability or previous experience in a similar role (Estimating or Scheduling) 
  • Previous residential building experience is essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Well-developed computer literacy and demonstrated competency with model maintenance, call forwards, CBS and detailed cost
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • High level of resilience and a willingness to develop oneself professionally
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge and interpretation of legislation, standards and building codes
