The Role
Reporting to the Building Manager, the Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our Site Managers are achieving their operational objectives to high standards.
Some of the key functions of this role include;
- Set, review and ensure progress claims and practical completion targets are achieved in line with rolling budgets
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Review onsite production and timeframes to ensure efficiencies in line with agree build templates
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment on site as well as the implementation of new initiatives to ensure a market-leading safety approach
- Coach and mentor Site Managers, and manage recruitment and resourcing in collaboration with the Building Manager
- Drive initiatives and opportunities for improvement across Construction
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to influence and lead a team
- Sounds residential construction knowledge, ability to interpret building plans, inspection reports and specifications
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI
- Have the ability to demonstrate customer service skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Have a can-do positive attitude, be highly organised and target driven
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ideally SOR location, job rounds will be allocated locally to where you live.
