What you will be working on

As the Concrete Supervisor, your role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. You’ll be at the forefront of project management, safety, and quality control.

Here’s a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of safety on-site by managing OHSE effectively, adhering to policy and standards
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings, enact emergency control procedures, and oversee HSE compliance for all site employees and subcontractors including documentation pre commencement
  • Evaluate labour availability on-site, including contractors and subcontractors, and efficiently coordinate to meet project requirements working closely with the Site Manager
  • Maintain a keen eye for quality control, overseeing structural compliance and finishes to ensure top-notch workmanship
  • Proactively manage projects to minimize construction defects, addressing potential issues promptly and areas for enhancement

You

To excel in this role, a specific skill set and qualifications are required:

  • Experience in site supervision and/or residential concreting preferred.
  • Construction White Card and a Current Driver's Licence (minimum C class)
  • Strong understanding of the WA building industry and OSH Act and Regulations
  • Demonstrated excellent programming and planning skills and strong technical construction knowledge
  • Ability to interpret working drawings and engineering plans and details.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Desirable:

  • Certification in Site Management or Building & Construction.
  • Experience in residential concreting
