We lead the market in every segment, from first homes to luxury residences, delivering the dream of home ownership. In Victoria, our brands include Boutique Homes, Homebuyers Centre and Resolve Finance.

We Will Provide

We offer a competitive salary, generous product discounts, reward and recognition programs, and a range of health and wellbeing benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program. Our vibrant culture thrives on recognising and developing talent. You'll enjoy regular social activities, work with a fantastic team, and be supported by approachable leaders with a clear and aligned vision.

What's On Offer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a new growth initiative within ABN Group, focused on helping Australians build wealth through property. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll help shape the future direction of this offering while establishing yourself as a key contributor in its long term growth.

As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and growing a network of referral partners that generate high quality opportunities for the business. Working with accountants, financial planners, mortgage brokers and other professionals, you'll build trusted relationships that create long term value for both customers and the business.

This is more than a traditional sales role. We're looking for someone who can establish credibility, educate partners on our offering, and create strong referral pathways through effective relationship management.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, engage and onboard referral partners across financial services, property and related industries
  • Develop trusted relationships with accountants, financial planners, brokers and other professional networks
  • Act as the primary point of contact for referral partners and support their ongoing engagement
  • Educate partners on our value proposition and referral process
  • Create and maintain a strong pipeline of quality referral opportunities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth lead handover and client experiences
  • Collaborate with marketing and business leaders to enhance partner engagement initiatives
  • Ensure all communications and activities operate within established compliance requirements
  • Represent the business professionally at networking events, industry forums and partner meetings

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in business development, partnership management or relationship management
  • Experience within financial services, banking, mortgage broking, property, professional services or a related industry
  • Exceptional ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills
  • A consultative and relationship led approach rather than a transactional sales style
  • High levels of professionalism, credibility and integrity
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and the importance of operating within defined frameworks
  • Existing industry networks are advantageous, but equally important is the ability to develop meaningful professional relationships from scratch

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to help establish and grow a new initiative within ABN Group. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, build key industry relationships and play a pivotal role in the success of a growing business. If you're a commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys creating opportunities, developing partnerships and delivering results through trust and service, we'd love to hear from you.

At ABN Group, people are at the heart of everything we do. We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, reflecting the communities we serve. Employment decisions are based on merit, and we welcome applications from all backgrounds.

You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply.
