What’s On Offer
As Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you’ll lead day-to-day operations across billing, cash applications, and collections. Working closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll guide and mentor a small team, ensure financial accuracy, and champion continuous improvement to make processes smarter and more efficient.
What You’ll Do
- Lead billing operations to ensure invoices are accurate and timely
- Maintain and review customer accounts in line with ABN’s master data policies
- Oversee cash applications, reconciliations, and financial adjustments (credits, debits, rebates)
- Monitor customer payment trends and highlight risks of non-payment
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve queries quickly
- Support month-end and audit activities with reliable data and documentation
- Drive process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy
- Contribute to initiatives that reduce disputes and strengthen compliance
What You’ll Bring
- Experience leading or mentoring within a finance or accounts receivable team
- Strong knowledge of billing operations, reconciliations, and master data accuracy
- Ability to resolve complex billing issues and ensure compliance
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and audit processes
- Experience in construction or a similar sector (advantageous)
- Working towards or holding a relevant accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Skilled in ERP and financial systems; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
