What’s On Offer

As Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you’ll lead day-to-day operations across billing, cash applications, and collections. Working closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll guide and mentor a small team, ensure financial accuracy, and champion continuous improvement to make processes smarter and more efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Lead billing operations to ensure invoices are accurate and timely
• Maintain and review customer accounts in line with ABN’s master data policies
• Oversee cash applications, reconciliations, and financial adjustments (credits, debits, rebates)
• Monitor customer payment trends and highlight risks of non-payment
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve queries quickly
• Support month-end and audit activities with reliable data and documentation
• Drive process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy
• Contribute to initiatives that reduce disputes and strengthen compliance

What You’ll Bring

• Experience leading or mentoring within a finance or accounts receivable team
• Strong knowledge of billing operations, reconciliations, and master data accuracy
• Ability to resolve complex billing issues and ensure compliance
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and audit processes
• Experience in construction or a similar sector (advantageous)
• Working towards or holding a relevant accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Skilled in ERP and financial systems; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
