The Role

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate billing, payment processing, reconciliations, and customer account management.

Working within a collaborative finance team, you will support the business by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with collections activities, and providing high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and processing customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Applying incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
  • Supporting collections activities and following up overdue accounts
  • Maintaining accurate customer master data and billing records
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and audit support activities
  • Responding to customer and stakeholder queries in a timely manner
  • Supporting continuous improvement across AR processes and systems

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-performing finance team. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders, and take pride in delivering accurate and efficient outcomes.

In addition, you will have:

  • Previous experience within Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Finance Administration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Experience using finance or ERP systems will be highly regarded
