Our Company

For more than 45 years, ABN Group has been a leader in the building, property, and finance industries, helping thousands of Australians turn the dream of home ownership into reality. We've delivered over 90,000 homes across Western Australia and Victoria — from first homes to luxury builds — earning the trust of our community along the way.

The Role

We are seeking a Vendor Operations Team Leader to join our Finance team in Perth on a 6-month contract, supporting the ongoing growth and evolution of the function. This leadership opportunity will focus on strengthening vendor governance, improving operational efficiency, and contributing to broader business transformation initiatives.

Working closely with Finance, Procurement, Technology and Transformation teams, you will help ensure vendor processes are compliant, streamlined and effective. The role also offers the opportunity to drive systems integration improvements, support ERP and D365 stabilisation, and partner across the business to deliver long-term operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading vendor master data governance and compliance reporting
  • Managing vendor onboarding processes, including EFTSure and D365 setup
  • Supporting vendor escalations, issue resolution and compliance activities
  • Partnering closely with Accounts Payable, Procurement and Finance teams
  • Driving continuous improvement across vendor and P2P processes
  • Supporting vendor communication, education and remediation activities
  • Leading and supporting a small team within Vendor Operations
  • Identifying root causes of vendor and AP issues and implementing solutions
  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives tied to ERP and finance transformation

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong finance operations knowledge with stakeholder engagement and leadership capability.

You will ideally bring:

  • Experience within Finance, Accounts Payable or Vendor Management environments
  • Strong understanding of vendor governance and compliance
  • Exposure to ERP implementations or finance system transformation
  • Experience working with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
  • Knowledge of vendor onboarding, compliance reporting and escalation management
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving capability
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members
