About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our People team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you’ll manage end-to-end recruitment across a broad portfolio while building strong partnerships with hiring leaders across the business.
This is more than managing vacancies. You’ll work closely with leaders to understand their business, challenge and shape recruitment strategies, provide market insights and help them make informed hiring decisions.
You’ll have ownership of your portfolio while being part of a collaborative TA team focused on delivering a great experience for our candidates and leaders and continuing to improve how we recruit.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across professional, technical, operational and leadership positions
- Partnering with hiring leaders to develop effective recruitment and attraction strategies
- Providing advice on market conditions, talent availability and salary competitiveness
- Proactively sourcing both active and passive talent across LinkedIn, SEEK, referrals and other channels
- Conducting phone screens, behavioural interviews and candidate assessments
- Coaching hiring managers on interviewing, assessment and selection
- Building talent pipelines and communities for future workforce requirements
- Managing offers and supporting negotiations through to commencement
- Delivering a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Using recruitment data and market insights to support decision-making
- Contributing to TA projects, process improvements, employer branding and broader People initiatives.
About You
You’re an experienced recruiter who enjoys being close to the business and building genuine partnerships with leaders.
You’ll be comfortable managing multiple vacancies and priorities while knowing when to move quickly, when to challenge a brief and when to provide leaders with a different perspective.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment experience across multiple business functions
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
- Confidence partnering with and influencing leaders
- Strong behavioural interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Proven sourcing capability across multiple recruitment channels
- The ability to manage a busy and varied recruitment portfolio
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System and LinkedIn Recruiter
- A strong focus on candidate experience, quality and attention to detail.
