The Role

You’ll utilise your technical and practical construction expertise to deliver high-quality projects in line with the Australian Building Codes and ABN Group safety standards.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, your key responsibilities include:

• Managing safety and quality on site

• Supervising and coordinating all on-site trades, structural works, services and finishes

• Overseeing material deliveries and ensuring workmanship meets required standards

• Conducting site inductions, toolbox meetings and maintaining communication with trades, consultants and suppliers

• Monitoring the program to ensure on-time Practical Completion

• Assisting with management of project budgets and preliminary costs with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator

• Interpreting building plans, engineer reports and specifications

• Ensuring projects meet company procedures, codes and quality expectations

• Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the build

You

You bring strong team spirit, a positive and flexible approach, excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and a strong work ethic. To be considered, you will have:

• Experience as a Site Manager in the Perth metro area (residential and/or commercial experience preferred)

• Excellent planning, programming and leadership skills

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes and standards

• High-level time management, organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

• Problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills

• A commitment to customer service and alignment with Dale Alcock Projects and ABN Group values
