The Role

As a Site Manager Cadet, you will be part of our Construction Training Academy, gaining practical experience across end-to-end building processes through in-office and on-site learning, supporting our Site Managers as you develop towards full site management responsibilities.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract Cadetship Program designed as a pathway to a permanent role.

The Program Structure:

  • Months 1-3: Academy Training - You will be based in the Academy learning the theory and practical fundamentals on site and in office- the ins and outs of WA residential construction, our systems, safety, quality control, and customer journey.
  •
  • Months 4-12: Holiday Relief & Job Rounds - Once deemed ready by the Academy, you will transition into holiday relief cover, picking up and managing your own job rounds end-to-end with the ongoing support and mentorship of the Academy.
  •
  • Beyond 12 Months: Permanent Pathway - You will remain in the program until a full-time permanent Site Manager role becomes available within the Group. This cadetship is our talent pipeline for future Site Managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct daily site inspections and utilise construction checklist
  • Develop proficiency in using in-house computer programs and maintain accurate and up-to-date paperwork, invoices, call forwards and job programs
