About the Role
We are seeking a Management Assistant to join our Residential Building division within the Retail team on a permanent, full-time basis from our office in Leederville. Reporting to the Sales Manager - Homebuyers Centre (HBC), this role provides high-level administrative and executive support to the HBC management team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing management calendars, inboxes and meeting schedules.
- Providing administrative support to the management team in delivering strategic and operational objectives.
- Contributing to team, departmental and business meetings, including preparation and follow-up actions.
- Supporting a range of HR administration activities, including onboarding and organisational chart maintenance.
- Coordinating stationery, site consumables, uniforms and other team resources.
- Organising and facilitating team training sessions, such as first aid training.
- Maintaining key business records and administrative databases, including construction and contact lists.
- Coordinating HBC team events, social functions and employee engagement activities.
- Tracking and celebrating employee milestones and recognition programs.
- Supporting and strengthening team culture through existing initiatives and the development of new team traditions and rituals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience within a similar administrative function
- Proactive approach and attitude towards multi-tasking
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative with a can-do attitude
- Highly developed PC skills, including Microsoft suite of products
- Demonstrated experience working in the building industry (desirable)
