The Role

Reporting to the GM - Information Security you will engage broad stakeholder groups across the enterprise and drive strong security standards throughout the organisation. You will manage the implementation, operation and control of all IT security requirements required to deliver and support IT services and products to meet business and IT objectives.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring information, threats and identifying measures to protect the Group's information systems and data integrity
  • Staying up to date with evolving cyber security risks in the Group
  • Performing routine testing and maintenance of information security systems
  • Providing specialist advice to stakeholders on compliance ensuring they adhere to technology security policies, standards and guidelines
  • Coordinating audit compliance
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement across technology tools and processes

You

To be successful in this role, the following qualities and experiences will be considered favourably:

  • Experience in core technology domains and in a Security Analyst role
  • Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with cloud security tooling and cloud platforms (SIEM, SOAR, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, Azure, DLP, Microsoft Defender, Azure AD Premium)
  • Sound knowledge of cyber security, risk, and compliance requirements in an IT context
  • Demonstrated involvement in security projects and initiatives
  • Being able to work autonomously with limited direction and identify and drive work through to completion
  • Possess written and verbal communication skills appropriate for the role
