Why You Will Be Excited About This Role

At ABN Group, we’re a company that’s driven by a passion for shaping the dream of homeownership for Western Australians. As an FP&A Business Partner, you’ll be at the forefront of that journey, playing a critical role in influencing key decisions that drive the success of the business. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, providing strategic financial insights that directly impact the direction of the company.

For over 45 years, ABN Group has been a pioneer in the building, property, and finance industries, helping thousands of Western Australians achieve their dream of home ownership. From first homes to luxury residences, we've built over 90,000 homes, earning a reputation for trust and excellence. With 1 in 4 customers referred by someone who believes in our commitment, we continue to shape WA’s property landscape.

What You’ll Be Working On

In this role, you will partner with business unit leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that align with ABN's organisational goals. You'll provide financial insights, lead target-setting processes, and identify opportunities to optimise resources and boost profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaboration with business leaders to develop strategic financial plans, performance reporting and operational metrics
  • Develop and integrate scenario planning capabilities to understand impact of decisions and provide insights that drive business improvement
  • Deliver robust business case proposals for investment and growth
  • Direct quarterly forecasting processes, applying financial expertise to deliver detailed impact analyses and commercial insights

This is a role where your expertise will truly shine. Every day presents a new challenge, as you collaborate with different teams, tackle new business priorities, and influence decisions that have a lasting impact.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable navigating complex financial landscapes and providing insights that guide key business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in business partnering and strategic financial planning
  • Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
  • Expertise in investment strategies, risk management, and financial modelling
  • A strong understanding of key financial metrics and business drivers which impact profitability
  • Relevant qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) and proficiency in financial tools and analytics

We Will Provide

We're not just offering a job; we're inviting you to be part of a community that values innovation, passion, and excellence. Our employee benefits include:

  • Great team culture: Join a team that works hard but also knows how to have fun. We regularly have team events, social gatherings, and plenty of opportunities to bond
  • Career growth: Whether you want to deepen your expertise or explore new areas, we’ll support your development
  • Office perks: Enjoy a bright, modern office with plenty of spaces to collaborate (and relax when you need to)
  • Competitive salary and benefits: We offer a great compensation package and additional perks to make your time with us even more rewarding
  • Wellness focus: We provide dedicated programs to nurture your wellbeing and support your goals
  • Parental leave: Additional paid parental leave for both primary and non-primary carers
