The Role

As the Senior Business Architect - Digital Construction you’ll be responsible for designing the future-state construction technology landscape at ABN. This role ensures that digital initiatives align with ABN’s strategic objectives and enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and overall market competitiveness.

• Lead the design and delivery of ABN’s future-state digital construction strategy, aligned to business objectives across Residential Building Construction.
• Drive the adoption of digital construction tools, including BIM and smart technologies, to improve efficiency, quality and customer outcomes.
• Evolve ABN’s business architecture to support scalable, practical digital transformation in the volume home building industry.
• Partner with business GMs, operational leaders and Solution Architecture teams to embed digital solutions into core processes.
• Identify and champion emerging technologies that enhance construction accuracy, reduce waste and strengthen competitiveness.
• Act as the key link between Technology and Residential Building Construction leadership, ensuring alignment and engagement.
• Establish governance and risk frameworks to ensure digital initiatives are compliant, sustainable and aligned to best practice.

About You

You're a strategic thinker and skilled communicator with proven experience in business or enterprise architecture and a passion for driving meaningful technology transformation in complex environments.

Key requirements of the role:

• 10+ years’ experience in a senior technology role, including 5+ years in business or enterprise architecture
• Proven experience developing and implementing digital strategies within a construction environment or closely aligned industry
• Demonstrated success delivering digital platforms in residential or volume home building (BIM experience highly regarded)
• Confident communicator able to influence and articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strategic thinker with strong planning capability and a track record of delivering to time, cost and quality targets
• Collaborative leader with the ability to mentor others and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering or a related discipline, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
