The Role

Reporting to the Selections Manager, the Selections Team Leader is responsible for effectively leading and managing a team of Selections Consultants.

The Team Leader leads by example and is customer-centric in everything they do. This role is fundamental in providing leadership and support to the Selections Consultants to achieve their targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Duties

• People management – including recruitment, coaching and conducting regular 1:1s with team members
• Drive the delivery of key business strategies and customer service framework
• Escalation and complaint resolution, including both internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct appointments to ensure currency of product knowledge and customer insights
• Contribute ideas to evolve and enhance customer experience and implement new customer experience initiatives
• Request customer feedback e.g. NPS surveys/ Product Review/Google Review to continually develop and improve the Home Collective processes and customer experience
• Support customers with the reselection process by providing alternative option suggestions as required
• Consistently develop product knowledge of materials, display homes and current trends
• Attend and actively participate in regular product training sessions

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Previous experience in a Selections or Pre-Start leadership position
• Ability to communicate with a variety of key stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner
• A customer-centric approach to everything you do
• Creative flair and a genuine passion for home building and interiors
• Ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly language
• Knowledge of residential construction processes (highly regarded)
• Immaculate personal presentation
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Be able to work as part of a team
