The Role

As a result of business growth and new opportunities, we are looking for Project Managers.

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the overall project delivery from design concept through to completion.

Key duties of this role include:

  • Overall successful delivery of the project in terms of safety, quality, cost, program and client satisfaction
  • Full understanding of all project contractual matters including practical and meaningful communication to the project team
  • Effective management of project risks and opportunities to identify and establish corrective actions as needed
  • Program preparation, management and tracking including monthly project reports, cash flow forecasting and tender letter schedules
  • Active stakeholder management and evaluation to ensure standards are met and project delivery is on track
  • Review effectiveness of project system for continual improvement
  • Thorough understanding of project scope including critical client objectives
  • Ensure HSEQ management procedures are effectively implemented and proactively drive a strong site safety culture

You

A high level of team spirit coupled with a positive and flexible attitude, strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. To be considered for the role you will have;

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager on commercial projects
  • Tertiary qualification (or equivalent including trade and experience) in a construction discipline such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management
  • Sound technical knowledge of various contracting models (ECI, D&C, GMP, Cost Plus etc)
  • Experience with Aconex and Jobpac systems (desirable)
  • Great leadership, motivation, and communication skills
  • Excellent financial/analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • The ability to work within time restraints
  • Embodies the culture and core values of PACT Construction and the ABN Group
