The Role

We’re looking for a detail-focused and customer-driven Payroll Officer to join our Finance Support Services team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple entities, while delivering a high level of service to stakeholders across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end processing of multiple payrolls, including bonuses, commissions, and terminations
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
  • Producing and reviewing payroll reports and supporting month-end activities
  • Partnering with Finance and internal stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Responding to payroll queries and providing clear, timely support to employees
  • Supporting audit requirements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within payroll

About You

This is a fast-paced and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people and who takes pride in getting things right.

You will bring:

  • Experience processing payroll in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Advanced organisational and time management skills
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working across payroll systems (Chris21 highly regarded)
  • A proactive, team-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
