Our Company

For more than 45 years, ABN Group has been a leader in the building, property, and finance industries, helping thousands of Australians turn the dream of home ownership into reality. We've delivered over 90,000 homes across Western Australia and Victoria — from first homes to luxury builds — earning the trust of our community along the way.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that blends insurance, risk and operational insight.

You’ll take ownership of the Group’s insurance processes and claims management, while also supporting the development of a robust risk and assurance framework across multiple business units.

From coordinating annual insurance renewals to analysing claims trends and advising on risk exposure, you’ll play a key role in protecting and strengthening the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the end-to-end insurance renewal process, including data coordination, documentation and insurer engagement
  • Assist in shaping and maintaining the Group’s insurance strategy and coverage structure
  • Maintain risk registers and reporting, supporting a consistent risk management framework across the business
  • Provide guidance on contractual insurance requirements and risk exposure to key stakeholders
  • Manage and monitor claims (including Workers Compensation), driving timely outcomes and insights
  • Analyse claims and risk data to identify trends, insights and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to compliance, reporting and continuous improvement of insurance, risk and assurance practices

About You

You’re analytical, commercially aware and confident working across a range of stakeholders.

You bring:

  • Experience in insurance, risk, claims, finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical capability (Excel and/or Power BI)
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to build relationships across operational and corporate teams
  • Exposure to construction, workers compensation or complex insurance programs will be highly regarded.

Why ABN?
