The Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Retail Centre Consultant is responsible for establishing each visitor’s motivations for visiting the Retail Centre – Home Collective. From here they will assess, qualify, nurture and convert both walk-in and digital traffic into the Retail Centre, with the objective of converting traffic to referrals or booked appointments with the DAHSW business.
The Retail Centre Consultant must provide a welcoming and friendly reception to create a memorable experience to highlight the point of difference in choosing to do business with an ABN Group company.
This role will be well suited to those from a customer service or sales background within a strong KPI driven environment.
Key Duties
- Greeting and assisting all customer referrals and walk-ins
- Provide a high level of customer service and communication
- Engage in detailed conversations to establish key criteria and considerations of prospective customers
- Qualify prospective customers to the point of booking an appointment and making a formal introduction with the appropriate DAHSW business to continue the customer journey
- Build and work with client database to progress clients to ‘lead’ status and assign to a relevant DAHSW business
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with DAHSW Sales Managers, Sales Development Managers and sales consultants
- Sales and product assistance including showroom ‘walk throughs’ to enable sales for sales consultants.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Experience in customer service and/or sales, with a proven track record of consistently achieving performance targets and KPI’s
- Ability to communicate with a variety of key stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong influencing skills with an ability to convert enquiry to leads and appointments
- Confidence in sales questioning techniques to qualify prospects towards an appointment
- Ability to demonstrate customer service skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
- A customer centric approach to everything you do
- Immaculate personal presentation
