About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced FP&A Business Partner to join our Group Finance team in a highly visible role. As part of our Group function, you'll partner with leaders across Finance, Technology and People to drive consistent financial planning, performance reporting and strategic decision-making. Working closely with Executives and senior stakeholders, you'll lead Group reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis, while helping shape long-term strategy, enhance business intelligence and build best-practice FP&A capability across the ABN Group.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly Group performance reporting for Executive Leadership and the Board.
  • Drive quarterly forecasting, budgeting and long-term financial planning processes across the Group.
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners and business leaders to deliver commercial insights, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and enhance sophisticated financial models, forecasting methodologies and scenario analysis.
  • Lead the ongoing improvement of Group reporting, dashboards and Power BI capabilities.
  • Support the implementation of Enterprise Performance Management initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of climate-related financial reporting, modern slavery reporting and capital management reporting.
  • Enhance governance frameworks, business case templates and investment reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Champion continuous improvement and contribute to building a best-in-class FP&A function across the Group.

About you

You're a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, solving complex business problems and influencing strategic outcomes through meaningful financial insights.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Significant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Partnering or a similar strategic finance role.
  • Strong experience leading budgeting, forecasting and Executive-level reporting.
  • Advanced financial modelling, analytical and commercial problem-solving skills.
  • Experience presenting financial insights and recommendations to Executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Exposure to capital investment analysis, governance, sustainability or climate reporting will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information for a broad range of stakeholders.
