About the role

As the FP&A Group Reporting Analyst, you'll be at the centre of our financial planning and analysis function, partnering with senior finance leaders to deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting and strategic insights that support Executive and Board decision-making. You'll play a key role in consolidating Group performance, developing robust financial models, enhancing reporting capabilities and providing the commercial analysis that helps drive performance, identify opportunities and influence strategic decisions across the ABN Group.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Deliver monthly Group reporting and performance analysis for Executive Leadership and the Board.
  • Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the organisation.
  • Support quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and long-term financial planning.
  • Build and maintain financial models that improve forecasting accuracy and business decision-making.
  • Develop meaningful dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other data sources.
  • Support capital investment analysis and business case development.
  • Contribute to the Group's climate reporting and sustainability initiatives, including financial analysis supporting AASB S2 reporting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance Business Partners, General Managers and finance teams across Western Australia and Victoria to deliver commercial insights that create value.

About you

You'll be someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with large data sets and partnering with stakeholders to influence business outcomes.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong PowerPoint capability.
  • Experience interpreting financial statements and translating data into meaningful commercial insights.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and business intelligence reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI will be highly regarded.
  • Exposure to capital modelling, investment analysis or sustainability reporting will be advantageous.
