The Role

As an Accountant reporting to the Finance Lead, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial data, supporting period-end processes, and driving finance improvements.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support process improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and add business value
  • Prepare journals, manage allocations, and ensure accurate, compliant entries
  • Oversee accounting for revenue, leases, prepayments, assets, and provisions
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and compliance
  • Deliver timely journal entries, reconciliations, and reports for period-end close
  • Prepare internal financial reports aligned with the general ledger
  • Maintain weekly cash flow forecasts and finance master data
  • Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and initiatives

You

You’re a detail-focused, proactive Accountant with solid financial and technical expertise. You thrive on solving problems, streamlining processes, and working in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring:

  • CPA or CA qualification with a tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with shared services and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of tax and compliance, ideally in construction or related industries
  • A mindset for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
