What's on offer? 

As a Draftsperson in our Developments team you will use Archicad software for design sketches and assessing proposals against site restrictions, relevant zoning and planning overlays to produce a compliant design solutions and working drawings for on site use.

You will be across all Town planning documentation, preparing town planning drawings in accordance with council requirements.

You will coordinate supporting documentation in accordance with programmed delivery dates.  

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Prepare drawings including construction details 
  • Ensure plans are quality checked 
  • Reflect dispensations, Council and Developer requirements 
  • Ensure plans comply with building practices 

What can you bring? 

  • Experience using Archicad 
  • Understanding of contract documentation, preconstruction procedures and construction techniques 
  • Minimum of Cert IV in Residential Drafting 
  • Construction and Residential codes knowledge 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Well-developed problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation 
  • Accuracy, neatness, and patience in drawing work
