What's on offer? 

This is an opportunity to join our Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) team as an HSE Advisor. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in implementing and managing ABN Victoria's residential HS&E strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards while mitigating risks in health and safety.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining ABN Group’s HS&E Management System
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with HS&E standards
  • Conduct investigations into HS&E incidents on ABN Victoria sites and provide constructive feedback
  • Conduct site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives and contribute to the risk mitigation process
  • Review and assess safe work statements to meet state legislated requirements
  • Maintain electronic records related to HSE activities 

What can you bring? 

  • Certificate IV in OH&S (or higher)
  • Knowledge of current OH&S legislation and standards, particularly regarding subcontractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in MS Office suite
  • Comprehensive understanding of the construction process
  • Relevant construction experience, preferably in residential construction
