Who Are We?

At ABN Group, we’re Australia’s leaders in construction, property, and finance. In Victoria, you’ll know us through Boutique Homes & Homebuyers Centre. Our mission is to deliver the dream of home ownership, and we’re always looking for amazing people to help create the dream.

Your Impact

As a Construction Assistant, you’ll support the day‑to‑day operations of our construction team, ensuring the right information, documents and certifications get where they need to be — accurately and on time.

Your day-to-day will be to -
  • Prepare weekly reporting packs, manage critical documentation, complete final account checks, and work closely with Site Managers and Surveyors to source and upload Certificates of Occupancy.
  • Help keep projects compliant, organised, and progressing toward handover smoothly.
  • Be a key connector — communicating with internal teams, gathering accurate information, preparing handover documentation and supporting ongoing improvements to processes and admin systems.
  • Help make every day easier for the Building Managers and Regional Construction Managers you support.
This role is all about detail, consistency, collaboration and keeping things moving — and the impact you make will be felt across every home we build.

What You'll Bring

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an organised, fast‑paced environment and enjoys supporting others to deliver great outcomes. We’d love to meet you if you are -
  • Someone who possesses excellent organisational and time‑management skills
  • Strong in communication with well‑developed interpersonal skills
  • Detail‑focused, reliable and able to juggle multiple tasks confidently
  • Skilled in managing paperwork, recordkeeping and documentation
  • Comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders and escalating issues when needed
  • Motivated, proactive and committed to accuracy and quality
  • Positive, collaborative and eager to support a team

People are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve built a culture around care – of your physical, mental and financial wellbeing, and we care about your growth, both personally and in your career. Most importantly, we know how to have fun along the way.

Here’s some of what you’ll enjoy:

  • Health & wellbeing perks such as onsite gym, flu vaccinations, skin checks, massages & financial wellbeing seminars.
  • Subsidised barista-made coffee onsite
  • Hybrid working, once you've settled in
  • Regular social events (we love a good party)
  • Discounts on building your own home
