Our Company

For more than 45 years, ABN Group has been a leader in the building, property, and finance industries, helping thousands of Australians turn the dream of home ownership into reality. We've delivered over 90,000 homes across Western Australia and Victoria — from first homes to luxury builds — earning the trust of our community along the way.

The Role

We are seeking a commercially minded Construction Analyst to join our team based in Leederville, supporting our Construction function through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.

This is not a passive reporting role. You will be expected to take initiative, proactively identifying risks, uncovering opportunities, and bringing clarity to performance across the business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping a more data-led construction environment by improving visibility, strengthening performance insight, and enabling better decision-making across productivity, cost, and build outcomes.

Reporting to the General Manager – Construction, you will be responsible for translating data into clear, meaningful insights, ensuring risks and opportunities are well understood and effectively communicated to the right stakeholders

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively analysing data to identify emerging risks, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Clearly articulating insights, ensuring risks and opportunities are understood by relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting the development and implementation of data and reporting strategies across Construction
  • Delivering timely, accurate, and relevant reporting that enhances visibility of performance
  • Driving improved visibility of key metrics, including productivity, capacity, cycle times, and cost performance
  • Supporting KPI development, tracking, and performance transparency
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across Construction
  • Partnering across Construction, Sales, CX, and Operations to ensure alignment and shared understanding of performance insights

About You

You take ownership of understanding the numbers and what they are telling you. You are proactive in identifying risks and opportunities early, and you are confident in communicating these clearly to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and insight generation
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities ahead of time
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights to stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving capability
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, data-driven mindset
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Experience within residential construction, building, or a similar operational environment
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or transformation initiatives
