Dale Alcock Projects brings together extensive construction expertise to deliver quality residential and commercial projects across Western Australia.

We are now looking for an experienced Building Manager to provide leadership across our Contracts, Site Management and Project Management functions and help drive the continued performance and growth of the business.

About Role

Reporting to the General Manager – Projects, the Building Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion.

You will lead the Contracts Manager, Construction Managers and Project Managers, with broader responsibility across a multidisciplinary team including Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Contract Administrators, Project Administrators and Assistant Project Managers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Contracts, Site Management and Project Management teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to construction and handover.
  • Develop and lead high-performing teams, driving accountability, capability and operational excellence.
  • Maintain strong commercial oversight across budgets, procurement, contracts, claims and variations.
  • Proactively manage project risks, compliance, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex project and stakeholder issues while maintaining strong customer outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and construction methodologies.
  • Partner with senior leaders to align project delivery with Dale Alcock Projects’ strategic and commercial objectives.

About you

You will be an experienced construction leader who combines strong technical knowledge with the ability to lead people, influence stakeholders and maintain a clear commercial focus.

You will ideally bring:

  • Significant experience leading residential and/or commercial construction projects and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, site management, building regulations and industry standards.
  • Sound commercial capability across budgets, cost control, procurement and subcontractor management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, risks and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of quality, safety and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to develop teams, lead change and drive operational improvement.
