The Maker Designer Kitchens, part of the ABN Group, is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Cabinet Making Apprentices. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn. You'll be supported every step of the way by experienced tradespeople in a fun and supportive environment. Best of all, we'll cover your TAFE fees while you complete your apprenticeship and build skills for a rewarding long-term career.

This is a full-time apprenticeship position based at our Bassendean manufacturing facility. Due to apprenticeship eligibility requirements, applicants must have permanent work rights in Australia and be eligible to undertake an Australian Apprenticeship.

What you’ll be doing:

• Learning all aspects of cabinet making and installing
• Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of custom kitchens and cabinetry
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working alongside experienced tradespeople to develop your skills

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine interest in cabinet making
• Someone who enjoys hands-on work
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
