The Opportunity
As an Allocations Coordinator, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating trade and supplier activity across our construction program.
Working closely with Site Managers, Construction Leaders and Trade Partners, you'll ensure work is allocated efficiently, workforce capacity is effectively managed and build schedules remain on track. You'll play a key role in identifying resource constraints, resolving scheduling conflicts and supporting productivity across multiple construction regions.
About the role
- Schedule and coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple construction projects
- Manage workforce capacity and labour utilisation to ensure work is allocated efficiently
- Monitor construction schedules and proactively resolve trade shortages, scheduling conflicts and resource constraints
- Maintain forward work programs and workforce planning forecasts
- Liaise with Site Managers, Trade Partners and Suppliers to coordinate upcoming work and respond to schedule changes
- Adjust schedules and allocations based on build progress and changing site requirements
- Analyse scheduling, productivity and workforce utilisation data to identify trends and opportunities
- Maintain accurate scheduling records, reporting and workforce planning tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scheduling efficiency and resource utilisation
- Contribute to workforce planning activities that minimise downtime and maximise productivity
About You
- Experience in scheduling, rostering, workforce planning, mobilisation, dispatch, field service coordination or a similar operational role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience coordinating trades, crews, contractors, technicians or field-based workforces
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and confidence making decisions in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency using scheduling, workforce planning or operational systems
- Experience within construction, maintenance, trade services, field services, logistics or workforce planning environments will be highly regarded
