The Maker Designer Kitchens, part of the ABN Group and located in Bassendean, is Western Australia's largest designer kitchen and stone manufacturer. Employing over 150 staff across three dedicated premises, we are focused on providing excellence in quality and service.

With continued growth and development, we are looking for an experienced, well-presented Drafting Administrator to join our energetic team.

The Role

As a Drafting Administrator, you will demonstrate a passion for the industry, be a high achiever, and represent the business with a can-do attitude. This person will possess a high attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and a positive, solutions-focused approach.

You will be responsible for supporting the Drafting department by producing plans for production, managing drafting-related administration, and contributing to the optimisation of workflows and training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce accurate drafting plans and documentation for production.
- Maintain and update optimisation-related documentation.
- Perform a 60/40 split between drafting and optimisation tasks.
- Manage recuts and variations efficiently.
- Provide QC and drafting checks to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Deliver guidance and training on optimisation processes, including onboarding new employees and acting as the go-to person for optimisation-related queries.

- Able to provide clear and concise communication.
- Organised and capable of multitasking under pressure.
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team.
- Self-managing and proactive in your daily responsibilities.
