The Opportunity
We are seeking a General Manager - Construction to shape the culture, lead strategic execution, and drive continuous improvement across safety, building, customer experience, maintenance and trade relations. You will facilitate and develop initiatives that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to optimise profitability of the business, considering identified present and future risks and ensuring mitigation plans are put in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Construction function with a focus on high performance and collaboration
- Drive and develop the strategy, project and change management plans for the function
- Grow strong working relationships with GM Building in Victoria to unlock national alignment
- Implement scalable systems and practices for long-term success and efficiency
- Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and cultural alignment
- Support enterprise-wide initiatives while ensuring functional needs are met
- Build strong internal and external relationships to enable operational success
