The Role

Are you ready to make an impact? As a Loan Assessor at Bluebay, you’ll play a crucial role in our lending process – managing, reviewing, and processing loan applications from submission to formal approval. Working closely with external parties involved in the process (Brokers, Lenders, Solicitors and Mortgage Insurers) to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. 

The new Loan Assessor role will add to our existing Loans Processing team based in Leederville WA.

Key duties will include:

  • Accurate and timely processing of home loan and personal loan applications through all stages from submission to formal approval/solicitor instruction
  • Submission of applications to lenders mortgage insurers and lenders for conditional and formal approval
  • Dealing with loan scenarios and queries from brokers
  • Assist with the ongoing training of our existing brokers
  • Assist brokers with loan submissions through to Bluebay Home Loans

You

The ideal applicant will possess:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in all aspects of loans assessing
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Exceptional time management and the ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with speed and accuracy
  • Customer-focused approach with a desire to provide top-tier service
  • Sound judgement and credit assessment capabilities
  • Knowledge of SMSF and/or NDIS lending is a plus (not essential)
