What’s On Offer?
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll be a vital part of our Finance team, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Your work will help maintain strong vendor relationships and support the business’s financial operations, all while keeping things accurate, timely, and compliant.
This is a 12-month full-time fixed-term position based in our Leederville office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process high volumes of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to approval workflows
- Resolve discrepancies or delays promptly, collaborating with the AP Team Lead as needed
- Maintain a neat and organised invoice filing system for easy record retrieval
- Perform reconciliations, ensuring transactions balance and supporting financial reviews
- Manage vendor payment queries with a friendly and professional approach
- Assist with period-end reconciliations, audit preparations, and compliance reporting
- Maintain data integrity for vendor records and contribute to improving processes
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role (experience in construction or a related field is a bonus)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes of transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with a problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams and vendors
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and a passion for learning and development
